Your BuiltChat account is also a BuiltSearch account. BuiltSearch is the wider platform that BuiltChat belongs to, so the same account may be used across other BuiltSearch services.

Managing your account

Open Settings → Account to update your profile picture or change your password.

Because your account is shared with BuiltSearch, changing your password may sign you out of BuiltChat and other BuiltSearch services. You can sign in again using your new password.

Keeping your account secure

Do not share your account with anyone. Anyone who can access your account may be able to view personal information in your chats, including messages, uploaded files, generated images, and project content.

Never share your password, password recovery link, or verification code. BuiltChat and BuiltSearch support will never ask you to send them your password. Use a strong, unique password that you do not use for another service.

Forgotten password

If you forget your password, select Forgot password? on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your email address.

Email notifications

Emails sent to your inbox about your BuiltChat account, such as password recovery and support messages, will come from support@builtsearch.com. This is expected because BuiltChat user accounts are managed through BuiltSearch.
